Rachel Brennan
Chief Processoholic & Product Marketing Professional
Hello, my name is Rachel Brennan, and I am a processoholic. A few years ago, I came to the realization that I’m like a chocoholic, but for processes. I love everything about process and just can’t get enough, which explains why I have worked in the process world for over 15 years. Most recently as a product marketing director for TIBCO Software's portfolio of business-based products and services.
There are three things that I love as much as process: Making complex concepts consumable, Wine, and Star Wars.

TIBCO Software Inc. / Staffware Plc | Palo Alto, CA (TIBCO acquired Staffware Plc in June 2004)
Director, Product Marketing November 2011 – April 2017
Developed, directed, measured, and motivated the global product marketing team for TIBCO's portfolio of business-focused products and services. I managed and evaluated a diverse team of product marketers with the tenet I find crucial to successfully marketing technical products and services to a business audience, “Make the complex consumable.” With this in mind, I managed the team to create go-to-market plans, business messaging frameworks, value propositions, buyer personas, sales enablement material, and supporting content for various stages of the sales and marketing funnel. The team also designed, implemented, and supported product launches, thought leadership programs, social media campaigns, nurture streams, traditional outbound campaigns, industry events, industry analyst relations and evaluations, and customer experiences and journeys. I was a hands-on manager and actively participated in the BPM, BPA, and Low Code App Dev product marketing responsibilities.
TIBCO's business-focused portfolio includes: Business Process Management (BPM), Business Process Analysis (BPA), Low Code App Dev, Citizen Developer Initiatives, Master Data Management (MDM), Enterprise Collaboration, Data Quality, Customer Loyalty, Customer Journey Mapping (CJM), Telco Fulfillment Solutions.
Named TIBCO's company-wide Core Values Award winner for consistently going above and beyond the call of duty, and planning an immersive experience at the 2016 user conference, launching TIBCO's first Women in Technology event, and pioneering the TIBCO mentoring program.TIBCO Software Inc.
BPM Evangelist January 2010 – November 2011 and February 2007 – July 2008
The BPM Evangelist/Tiger Teams within TIBCO are temporary teams (lasting 12-18 months) of experts brought together to address a skills gap within the sales and technical sales teams. I have been a member of a BPM Evangelist Team twice. The first team was formed shortly after TIBCO acquired Staffware and needed assistance in selling BPM as well as speaking to a business audience vs. a technical one. The second time was for the launch of a brand-new flagship BPM platform, ActiveMatrix BPM, to replace the previous BPM offering. The BPM Tiger Teams were responsible globally for sales and technical sales enablement, coordinating with product marketing, post-sales awareness, certification program, demo creation and scripts, first and second meeting sales materials, and participating in all BPM deals and proof of concepts as the subject matter expert.
TIBCO Software Inc.
Global Business Architect July 2008 – January 2010
The global business architect group was an elite group of TIBCO’s product-specialist architects. It was a hybrid group that worked on both pre- and post-sales projects globally, facilitated architecture sessions at the user conferences, worked with the education team to build certifications and training modules, as well as creating and leading a majority of the product-specific post-sales delivery enablement sessions.
TIBCO Software Inc.
